Thanks for sharing Vidhipssa, I agree with everything you wrote here. I feel that this fetishization of Asian women is a colonial remnant that should've been erased by now, and yet it still persists.

I do find it ironic though, that where I came from, it's common for women to do the opposite: They fetishize white men. They treat them as trophies and take too much pride in having white men as a partner.

Anyway, I'm not pointing any fingers, merely stating an observation. These people could really be in love and happy as far as I'm concerned. Good for them if that's the case. Otherwise, who knows.
